Ken Anderson

Prior to joining Sim as the Manager of Bling Vancouver Post Services in 2011, Ken spent almost 10 years working on-set as a Digital Imaging Technician and has been a member of IATSE 669 on various television and film productions. A graduate of both the Langara College Small Business program and the BCIT Broadcast TV program, Ken has also worked extensively over the past 17 years freelancing as a Broadcast Video Operator on many studio productions, news programs, and major political events. He continues to specialize in live sports coverage of all types, including working on four Olympic Games broadcasts and working regularly for CBC on Hockey Night in Canada. Ken was once told by a mentor in the broadcast business that “surrounding yourself with competent, accountable people at work makes your job easy,” a philosophy that Ken has adopted as General Manager of Sim Vancouver in his staff hires. Ken has a passion for the technical side of digital television and film production combined with a strong background in business.
