Despite the uncertainty in the world around us, we are continuing to push forward in pursuit of our purpose and are very excited to announce several exciting and well-deserved advancements within our Post division. The pandemic is a threat not only to our physical health, but also to progress towards gender diversity and inclusion. Increasing participation from women in film is vital to our success. These moves will further strengthen our team and demonstrate our commitment to using our creative and technical talent to continuously advance meaningful solutions for the entertainment industry.

Jesse Korosi will be moving into the role of Director of Post for the entire Post Division, overseeing Dailies, Workflow, the development team, and Metabanq. Jesse was the Dailies department’s first employee, a mentor to many and someone that has continued to be the right-hand man to each of the leaders within the Post Division.

Krystle Tesoriero will be taking over the role of General Manger, Post, Los Angeles.  Krystle has been the Director of Operations for several years and is ready to take the reins of our Los Angeles location and drive our team forward.  She has rallied our staff over the last year and continues to work tirelessly, especially in the current environment, to keep our staff aware, engaged and motivated to do the best work possible.

Stacy Chaet will be taking on the Director of Workflow role.  Stacy has worked her way up the ranks in the Workflow division and has been our Senior Workflow Producer, based in New York, working with the Finishing team.  Her time will now be spent focusing on all of our offices, focused on both Dailies and Finishing.

Payton List will be taking on the role of General Manager, Dailies/Media team for our Los Angeles facility.  She has been a strong Workflow Producer in LA who started with Sim in the Camera department.  Along with overseeing the dailies and media teams, she will also have a hand in guiding the workflows for the rest of the Finishing operation in Los Angeles.

Dave French, our Director of Post Engineering Operations, will now have an expanded team that now includes Pat Bocuzzi (Los Angeles), David Rodriquez (Los Angeles), Travis Wong (Vancouver) and Alex Sikorsky (Toronto).  Dave’s main goal will be to maintain and unite the company-wide operations to streamline our offerings and keep our procedures between locations in sync to ensure that our clients get the same great service across the Sim brand.  David Rodriquez’s role will expand to encompass the tracking inventory and managing our offline (in-house and offsite) resources hand-in-hand with our main operations team in Los Angeles.

These moves will support all other Sim offices spanning North America in delivering the highest standard of service for the creative community.

Congratulations to all!
