About the Position: 

The Online Editor is responsible for ensuring that the final product is complete and ready for delivery.  This includes titling, scene corrections, edits, and other detail-oriented tasks.  The Online Editor is also responsible for cultivating and fostering productive working relationships with clients during sessions. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Use relevant software, plug-ins and hardware to conform to and match offline edit sequence; 
  • Communicate with clients and in-house producers regarding missing elements and other show needs to ensure an efficient completion of the project; 
  • Cleanup various distractions by applying paint, blur, and general color corrections to client files; 
  • Create Air Master and Version of each show; 
  • Manage each assigned project, including managing time and budgets when needed; 
  • Provide titling services; 
  • Drop in VFX, etc. as needed; 
  • Create Credit Beds; 
  • Review all projects with each client prior to final delivery to ensure client standards have been met; 
  • Manage and respond to client emails and requests in a timely manner; 
  • Assist in the ongoing development of improved workflow processes; 
  • Other duties as assigned 

What You’ll Need: 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of relevant online editing experience required 
  • 4-year College Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience preferred 
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Excellent customer services skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills 
  • Ability to work in a team in a busy environment and handle the demands and pressures of multiple daily deadlines
